4. The Jedi Order
If theres one thing that is a massive part of the Star Wars Universe weve not got to fully experience, it is the Jedi Order. Weve only ever met Obi-Wan and Yoda, both of whom are in exile. This film promises to expand upon the space wizards, giving Obi-Wan a Master and introducing a plethora of different species, no doubt with their own unique abilities.
The big question is, what will the Jedi be like? Their key traits - wearing local clothes to be disguised and remained quiet and docile to avoid attracting attention - were necessities of Vaders hunt. Were yet to see what they were like in their prime.
Information is thin on the ground at this point, but its not too out there to expect an exciting new direction (there are the guys who fought in a Clone War after all). The casting is a clue however; Samuel L. Jackson will be bringing his trademarked badass skills as a Jedi. With such cool actors on board, expect the old Jedi view to be soon left behind.
