Darth Nihilus laid waste to the planet of Katarr, sparing a single person - Visas Marr; a blind Jedi who used the Force to see. Curious of her abilities, Nihilus made Visas his apprentice and successfully brainwashed her into believing that galactic peace was only possible by destroying the Jedi.

When Visas sensed a presence in the Force beyond the Outer Rim, she went to investigate and discovered an exiled Jedi called Meetra. After Meetra defeated her, Visas was astonished to see the Jedi spare her life. In that moment, Visas realised Nihilus had lied about the Jedi's nature, compelling her to join Meetra to stop her former master. After she confronted and helped destroy Nihilus, Visas felt at peace having finally avenged her people.
