Star Wars: Every Sith Who Turned To The Light Side
1. Darth Vader / Anakin Skywalker
When Qui-Gon Jinn discovered a child called Anakin Skywalker, he was certain he was the prophesied messiah that would bring balance to the Force. Because Yoda saw darkness in Anakin's future, he argued against training him as a Jedi. Despite the Jedi Master's concerns, Obi-Wan Kenobi took Anakin on as his Padawan after Qui-Gon's death.
But after Darth Sidious preyed on Anakin's fears, he was able to to twist his mind, turning him into his apprentice, Darth Vader. After the Sith Lord convinced Vader that the Jedi were evil, he convinced him to commit numerous atrocities, including the slaughter of all the Jedi children.
Because Vader has personally slaughtered countless people and was directly responsible for the destruction of multiple worlds, it's hard to think of a single villain who personifies malevolence more than him.
And yet, Vader decided to abandon the Dark Side for one simple reason - his love for his son. When he saw The Emperor was about to slaughter Luke Skywalker, Vader destroyed his master. Although Vader died from his injuries moments after, Luke saw him soon after as a Force-ghost, proving he had returned to the Light Side.
