20. Sifo-Dyas
Sifo-Dyas has a terrible legacy in the Star Wars canon. Though once highly respected, when serving on the Council, he had a vision of the coming war, and requested the Council allow the commissioning of an army on Kamino. His request was denied, but the Jedi Master went to Kamino anyway and set in motion the creation of the clones.
His heart in the right place, he was later killed by Dooku and Palpatine so they could plant their seeds for Order 66, meaning Sifo-Dyas ended up being a key player in the fall of the Republic.
