Yarael Poof was an old and incredibly wise Jedi Master who was known for his diplomatic skills and his surprisingly mischievous personality, often playing pranks on his fellow Jedi. He was a master of mind tricks and had a near-unrivalled knack for creating illusions, something which came in handy when he fought.

He was killed in a mission sometime before the beginning of the Clone Wars, and his seat on the Council was taken by Coleman Trebor.
