6. Yoda Vs Palpatine - Revenge Of The Sith

One of the final battle of Episode III takes place between two masters of opposite ends of the force as Yoda duels Darth Sidious in the senate chambers in a desperate attempt to save the galaxy from evil. In many ways this moment feels like the obligatory scene of all three prequels combined. What Star Wars fan didn't want to see a lightsaber duel between Yoda and the Emperor? Answer: Not one (we hope). Besides, like the rest of the film, Lucas didn't miss a good opportunity to tie-in to Episodes V by explaining how Yoda, the master of all Jedi, lost his lightsaber. This scene managed a careful balance between serious and amusing. Despite the fate of the galaxy being at stake you just can't help laughing a little as a green, weird-talking alien takes on an evil, cackling sorcerer with swords made from concentrated lasers. So deliciously campy.
