8. Bodhi Is Going To Die
Bodhi Rook - played by the superb Riz Ahmed - is a member of the crew we haven't seen too much of so far. The likes of Chirrut, Baze, and Cassian have all had their moments in the trailers - and continue to have them here - but the pilot has been lacking in screentime.
There's no major shift in that in this trailer, but what we do see of Bodhi seems fairly important. Previously we're used to seeing him just as the pilot, but here he's out of the cockpit and on the battlefield at Scarif - and not looking too happy about it.
While it's a fair expectation of almost everyone in this movie to die, this trailer gives the biggest hint yet that Bodhi will be one of them. A scared pilot not used to on-the-ground fighting, who then overcomes that fear, and gets a heroic death.
