6. Who Is Ben Mendelsohn's Character?
Well, Ben Mendelsohn looks damn cool in this trailer. We get a couple of shots of him, with the first giving us our best look as it's from the front, and shows him dressed all in white.
Firstly, there's the question as to his character. Based on his appearance, it seems that he is a Grand Admiral in the ranks of the Imperial forces. Then there's the matter of what he's standing in front of - could those be plans to the Death Star?
Does this mean that Mendelsohn's character is the one overseeing the construction of the Death Star, thus making him a key figure in the efforts to steal the plans?
To dismiss a couple of other things that have been said about this character in the past day, no, he probably isn't Grand Moff Tarkin (nor is he Grand Admiral Thrawn), and I think that's just some very shallow water he's walking on, rather than him performing some deity-esque feat.
