7. The Hamfisted "Rogue One" Name Drop

The filmmakers just couldn't resist including a hilariously on-the-nose namedrop of the movie's title, could they?

Just as the rebels are about to take off in their commandeered ship ahead of the final battle, pilot Bodhi (Riz Ahmed) is contacted over the radio and asked for his ship's callsign. He reluctantly says "Rogue...Rogue One", and as the bemused officer on the other end remarks that the callsign doesn't exist, Bodhi takes off.

The title probably had to appear somewhere in the movie, but would've fit a lot easier during one of the many rebel meeting scenes, as their squad name could've had Rogue One as its official designation rather than one clumsily made up on the spot.

It might seem like a nitpick to some, and it's nowhere near as bad as "We're some kind of Suicide Squad?" or "That's Fantastic", but it's certainly not a bastion of subtle writing either.
