When Mon Mothma and Bail Organa are talking in the rebel base, she asks him about his "Jedi friend from the Clone Wars", quite clearly referring to Obi-Wan.

Bail then replies that he's sending someone he trusts with his life (implied to be his daughter, Leia) to fetch Obi-Wan.

It's a great little moment that further bridges the gap between the prequels and originals without getting too in-your-face about it.
