10. Bail Heads To His Death
Though Bail and Mothma's little chat in the rebel base is a brilliant nod towards the introduction of Obi-Wan to the Star Wars universe, it's followed up by a seemingly off-hand comment that has an incredibly chilling implication.
Organa tells Mothma that he's heading to Alderaan, which of course results in his death when Tarkin blows the planet up using the Death Star in A New Hope.
It may just be a small moment, but it adds even more dramatic weight to the planet's destruction, especially considering that Bail Organa is one of the most likeable supporting characters in the prequel trilogy.
