At this point in the trailer, a blaring alarm kicks in on the soundtrack - it's the Imperial alarm, heard throughout the Original Trilogy whenever things don't go the Empire's way (heard most prominently during the attacks on the two Death Stars). This prompts a very big observation on the trailer - it sounds like Star Wars. All of the sound effects feel rooted in the work of Ben Burtt on the original film and, along with the set design, really help build that sense of a lived-in universe.

The use of these old effects actually reminded a little bit of several classic games (among them Dark Forces, which ironically told another version of this same story) that likewise used copious movie assets to better create a world that felt like Star Wars - even moreso than The Force Awakens, Rogue feels rooted in the original trilogy.

All that aside, the Imperial alarm is also a nice bit of foreshadowing for the events of the film - this is a turning point in the Galactic Civil War, so the Empire better be worried.
