21. A Skilled Fighter

To really hammer home Mon Mothma's point, the trailer cuts to a scene where Jyn comes violently into contact with a squad of Stormtroopers. I'd bet this sequence is what originally brought her to the Rebellion's attention, and will thus serve as her introduction in the film itself (although there's some evidence to suggest this is actually later on, part of an inter-rim mission, which I'll get to in a couple of stills).

Notice in the background a droid with Jyn - possibly Alan Tudyk's mo-cap character, who we'll see again briefly in a bit.

Blaster? Lightsaber? Nah, Jyn's choice of weapon is a baton, a nice parallel with Rey and her staff that allows for some intense, close-quarter combat.

Turns out Stormtroopers are just as useless in hand-to-hand combat as they are shooting, which is crazy when you consider that they have guns and she's an undefended target. No wonder this Empire fell.

There in the background is Luna's character, which points to this being later on, although this could be where he first approaches/captures Jyn?

Whenever it comes in the movie, there's no denying disarming a Stormtrooper is pretty badass.
