6. Donnie Yen, Blind Master

After the first official publicity shot showed Donnie Yen's character with milky eyes, it was widely assumed that he was going to be playing a blind man. Fast forward to his unveiling in the trailer and it's all but confirmed.

Once again, the sequence that shows Yen flexing his muscles and taking down a squad of troopers doesn't exactly show the Empire's mooks in a good light. Fair enough, Yen's character is clearly pregnant with some mad stick skills, but he's blind and armed only with a stick. He probably isn't Force sensitive (there's not going to be much of that in the film at all apparently), so surely just shooting him where he stands would have been an option?

Regardless of how ridiculous the troopers are , Yen's character looks like a legitimate bad ass, and the touch of making him blind adds immediately to his mythos.
