24. Baze's Motivation

Here's Jiang Wen's character, Baze Malbus, a freelance assassin brought into the team. We know that he's recruited on Jedha, but is here seen as part of that night-time attack (further suggesting it's on that planet), proclaiming "They destroyed our home", likely providing the motivation for such a selfless mission.

He's there with Donnie Yen's Chirrut Imwe. The pair are close friends, although the blind Force-seer (I'll get to him later) is a little bit weak in a gun battle.

Baze is firing on Stormtroopers, so it appears there's a crucial Imperial base in amongst this dark, rocky canyon. What's there I don't know, but it's likely a side-point before the main battle.
