We see across the trailer that Jedha is under some Imperial occupation, leading to the heroes having to sneak in the old fashioned way. A clip played at Star Wars Celebration showed Jyn, Diego Luna's Cassian and Alan Tudyk's mo-cap droid K-2SO out in the barren desert, and now it looks like they were on their way to the city.

Wow. Look at that! We know from his previous films that Gareth Edwards' sense of scale is phenomenal, but this is just phenomenal, the Star Destroyer casting a shadow across the whole city as tiny fighters swoop in. Also notice the new landing crafts, which we'll see in more detail later.
