Star Wars: Solo Trailer Breakdown - 20 Things You Need To See
3. TIEs Vs Falcon
We get the continuation of that Star Destroyer emerging from a vortex, glimpsed in the Super Bowl teaser, here (GREAT work, Bradford Young), with the TIE Fighters on the tail of the Falcon. I mean, it just wouldn't be Star Wars without some TIEs chasing the Falcon, I suppose.
One of the exciting aspects of Ron Howard taking over directing duties was his eye for action, and more specifically vehicle-based action, with Rush containing a lot of flair. It's probably hard to make the Falcon scenes look bad, really, but he and Young really do appear to have done an excellent job with the action sequences here. It's unclear whether or not any of these scenes are the Kessel run, but the colour palette does fit with what we might expect - it's a hyperspace route, after all.
