6. Chewbacca Is A Saboteur?!

So far, Chewie has had relatively little presence in the trailers, other than that interesting shot of he and Han putting their hands up and presumably surrendering to the invading Empire force. But the Japanese trailer introduced the big fella quite literally with a bang. The fact that he is seen pressing a detonator suggests he's on a mission that sees him infiltrating an enemy position, hand-delivering a bomb and blowing it up. In all likelihood, it won't be lead to the bridge explosion that seems to wipe out Kylo Ren's curiously all female command team, as that looks more like clever editing. But the small hand-held detonator does suggest a more personal touch, rather than simply firing lasers from long distance and hoping for the best. Interestingly, Chewie appears to be in much ruder health than Han, and has aged far more gracefully, despite the fact that he's now at least 230 years old. But then Wookies can live to 400, so unless he's killed off, we can expect a lot more from the Falcon's co-pilot even after Han dies.
