Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Theories On How It Ends

1. Luke Will Take On Finn And/Or Rey As His New Padawans

Despite being the main character in the original trilogy and one of the main characters in the new sequel trilogy, there has been literally no information that has been revealed about Luke Skywalker and his role in The Force Awakens. With no idea as to what Luke has been up to, theories about the character have been thrown everywhere, but the most prominent ones generally revolve around Luke training up Finn and/or Rey as part of the new Jedi generation. There has been much speculation over why Luke is in hiding and how Finn and Rey both came into possession of Luke's old lightsaber. Coupled with all the speculation over how Rey and/or Finn are actually part of the Skywalker clan, the general prevailing theory is that Luke has been in hiding and getting everything ready whilst Rey and/or Finn were growing up and maturing. As the events of The Force Awakens unfolds, it is assumed that the emergence of a mature Finn and Rey will cause Luke to come out from hiding and to reveal everything about the Jedi and their true heritage. After defeating or losing to the First Order, Luke will be compelled to train Finn and/or Rey in order to ensure that the Jedi will live on. Regardless of whether Finn and/or Rey have Skywalker blood or not, just the possibility of Luke training up a new group of Jedi is something to look forward to. My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem. Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh. You can follow me at @Fry_ying_pan but don't be offended if I don't tweet back. It's usually because I've spent too long trying to think up a witty response that the reply window has closed.
