Essentially, this was the one thing that the trailer had to get right, wasn't it? Yes, the singular aspect that fans were hoping and praying for come final trailer time was to be able to watch something that felt like Star Wars; a trailer that showcased a similar tone to the beloved films of the original trilogy... and matched up to them on an aesthetic level. It's safe to that say that the two minutes that make up the final trailer were successful in the way that they made you feel like the movie was directed in safe hands after all, and that J.J. Abrams - Star Trek be damned - really was the right man for the job. Whilst it's not a perfect trailer by any means (though it comes very close), the fact that it eases fan fears instead of exacerbating them gives fans something hopeful to cling to 'til December. Unlike the prequel trilogy, something about The Force Awakens just feels... right.Like this article? Agree? Disagree? Did the final trailer for The Force Awakens manage to ease all of your worries?
