Going into Star Wars: The Force Awakens, one big unanswered question in whether or not Han Solo and Princess Leia are still an item or if their romance fizzled away in the years which saw the fall of the Empire and rise of the First Order. One thing that's for sure though is the fact that Leia has taken on an even more significant role in the Rebellion turned Resistance, and with that comes a brand new title. While one character apparently slips up and refers to her as "Princess" (who wants to bet that will be Han?), Leia is now a General! As a result, it sounds as if her role in the movie is going to be a much more serious one than what it often was in the original trilogy. "The stakes are pretty high in the story for her, so theres not much goofing around where Leias concerned, Abrams explained. But it felt historic to have her, especially with Harrison, back in scenes together.
