By far the most enigmatic character in The Force Awakens is Kylo Ren, a Sith fanatic obsessed with Darth Vader who's both working with the First Order and for his own, unclear nefarious means. He's also played by Adam Drive off of Girls, which is pretty weird in and of itself. The EW feature gives some new details about the masked menace (can you use menace in a Star Wars context without causing terrible flashbacks?) and his motivations, but the new image of his leading a group of stormtroopers isn't without some cool information. From the trailers thus far, we've seen Ren on the snowy planet where Starkiller Base is built and another planet, which with its fire-y backdrop looked like it could be that same world where Luke's hiding out in the second teaser. However, this new look of that scene reveals he's actually on Jakku, leading an assault on a small settlement (probably the same one Rey and Finn escaped from in the previous images.
