Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 8 Huge Things They Didn't Show Us In The Trailer
1. Jedi Master Luke
With Han making a very prominent appearance in the trailer and Leia finally showing her face, its clear that one of the original trio is painfully still missing: the Jedi hero Luke Skywalker.
Despite featuring seemingly all of the main characters, he was noticeably absent from the official poster and all we got in this trailer was the same shot of presumably his arm reaching out to touch R2-D2.
Its assumed that the role he will inhabit this time around is much like Obi-Wan Kenobis in the original film. Hes rumoured to be a hermit who has hidden himself away for fear of his own power and has grown into a bearded master of all things Force.
The movies plot is thought to centre around Finn and Rey seeking out the reclusive Skywalker, so to reveal him in the trailer would be understandably foolhardy. This way, we, like the character, have to wait to get a glimpse at the man Skywalker has become. And even if some set photos have spoiled the look of his epic beard, we still have no sense of what this aged Luke will be like.
