Star Wars: The Force Awakens Final Trailer - 10 Major Things We Learnt

The Force, it's calling to you. Just let it in.

Every other Hollywood studio needs to take note, because that's how to do a trailer! While 2015 has given us the likes of Age Of Ultron, which showed us so many of the best moments, or Terminator Genysis, which spoiled the damn twist, Lucasfilm and J.J. Abrams have managed to keep their cards impressively close to their chest. So it is that the first full-length trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been released two months out from the film itself, and there's nothing overly spoiler-y to get annoyed about. In fact, they managed to get it spot on (much like they have throughout the marketing campaign). It wasn't as obviously fan-pleasing as the two teasers, due to the fact that it was airing during Monday Night Football in the US, and thus had to appeal to a much broader audience. Still, there was plenty in there for the die-hards to get excited about: lightsaber action, our first proper look at Leia, spaceship battles, and what about that reverse-shot of the Falcon in hyperspace? F*** me! While there is sure to be plenty more revealed come December 17th (or 18th in the States), the trailer did give us some reveals that we can salivate and muse over until the film's finally released.
