Making Star Wars appear to have access to a lot of documents from the production of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and they've been squeezing them for information, week by week. It hasn't always added up to much, but the latest report is full of little bits of information. They appear to have compiled all of the names listed on the film's daily call sheets, coming up with what they call "a complete list of the characters we know to have filmed an actual sequence" in the film. Some of these, from Han Solo to Poe Dameron, are not surprises. Not any more, at least. But some... I don't even know what they mean. Here's the whole lot, with my notes where relevant. Han Solo (Queen) Leia Queen? Okay. That's quite confusing. I mean... would she not have become Queen after the destruction of Alderaan if it wa ever going to happen? Seeing how this plays out will be interesting. Luke Skywalker Rey (Kira) Finn Kylo Ren Poe Dameron These we all know about. They're the guys in the first teaser trailer. Rose Rose is rumoured to be Lupita Nyong'o's role, an alien created through a mixture of puppetry, prosthetics and motion-captured facial acting. We should see her in the new footage tomorrow. Chewbacca C-3PO (See-Threepio) The General (Gleeson) Uber (Serkis) Uber is a codename, I believe. The character is expected to be called something else, though his name may not even enter into this episode R2-D2 (Artoo-Detoo) BB-8 Wounded Stormtrooper (Village) The Vicar A Vicar? Again, probably a placeholder name, a simple way to describe some kind of spacecleric. Sounds like a good role for a cameo star, though. Maybe this is who Simon Pegg is playing, or maybe... Junk Dealer Junk Minion 1 I can see Pegg having either of these roles, most likely Junk Dealer. I'd love some Star Wars fans to take a guess, because I'm cold. It's like that time I got given a jigsaw of a plate of baked beans, just with more lightsabers and less kicking a baked bean jigsaw around the room, swearing. Whatever this list tells us about The Force Awakens or not we'll certainly be getting a lot more information tomorrow. Buckle up.
