Why He Could Live: Because he's Han freaking Solo, and if that's not enough, he's also Harrison freaking Ford. In all seriousness, the guy's in incredible shape for a 73-year-old (certainly more so than Hamill or Fisher, who are both much younger), so it would make sense to take advantage of this fact and keep him on for the long haul if possible. Why He Could Die: Because it would have the maximum level of dramatic impact to kill off the franchise's coolest character: Chewie, Leia and Luke would all be utterly devastated, and it could potentially lead to a huge cliffhanger for Episode VIII. Plus, Ford has expressed a desire to be killed off ever since The Empire Strikes Back, so it'd be fitting to see him given an emotionally harrowing sacrificial death, all while passing the bada** pilot torch to his younger facsimile, Poe Dameron. Prediction: Han is the only major legacy character to be killed off in Episode VII, and fans the world over cry many tears of sorrow. Who do you think will live and die in The Force Awakens?
