Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 10 Things We Want To See In The New Trailer

1. A Sign Of How Different It Is

One of the key takeaways from that first teaser was the relationship between Rey and Luke, with Skywalker training her in the ways of the Force. Combined with it being the second entry in a trilogy, the battle over a snowy landscape, the walkers, and the general sense of darkness and foreboding, and the parallels to The Empire Strikes Back were fairly clear.

That's understandable - "it rhymes" etc - but this episode needs to take things into really new directions. That's why Rian Johnson was hired, and what's been promised. We've seen hints of this, especially with Luke's "it's time for the Jedi to end" line, but it'd be great for the new trailer to show us more.

We've heard that the movie gets weirder than before, and how it's doing things that've never been done in Star Wars previously, while Johnson has shown himself to be a visionary filmmaker in the past, so it's time to reflect that all of that on-screen.

What do you want to see in the next trailer? Let us know down in the comments.
