Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 10 Things We Want To See In The New Trailer

9. John Williams' New Score

Not something to see per se, but John Williams' music is as integral to Star Wars episodes as Skywalkers and lightsabers. After sitting out Rogue One, the master is back for Episode VIII, and it was confirmed that he'd started scoring the film as early as February. That's interesting, since it's normally done in post-production, and could mean some exciting new themes for The Last Jedi.

Williams' work on The Force Awakens was good without being as great as his previous work in the franchise (Rey's Theme, Jedi Steps, and March of the Resistance being the real highlights), and it'd be nice to get an indicator in the new trailer of just what he's been able to come up with this time.

The use of The Force Theme, with a bit of Rey's Theme in there too, worked great for the first teaser, but now it's time to mix it up. Williams' music can make an action sequence soar and bring real weight or emotion to the drama, and the trailer should show us how he's doing that this time around.
