6. The Trailer Is Due In Spring

Where is the trailer? When is the trailer coming out? Why haven't we had a trailer yet? OY WITH THE TRAILER ALREADY!

Even before Rogue One was released, the was a great clamour for the Episode VIII teaser, especially given November 2014 debuted the first look at The Force Awakens.

That didn't have any other Star Wars films to compete with though, so it's not a fair schedule to base things on now. More likely is it'll follow Rogue One's lead, and we'll get the first teaser in April.

Kathleen Kennedy has already stated we can expect the first footage to air in "spring", and this year's Star Wars Celebration just so happens to be taking place from 13-16 April, so it seems nailed-on that's when we'll get the teaser. Until then, patience we must have.
