In one of the trailer's biggest WTF moments, we find out who Snoke is talking to. The same person he was likely talking to right at the very beginning of the trailer too: Rey.

She's left Ahch-To behind and, like she was in the first movie, has been captured by the First Order - only this time there doesn't appear to be an easy escape. We can also see that once again this takes place on the Supremacy.

It obviously recalls Palpatine trying to turn Luke, but it also goes back to The Force Awakens too. In the novelisation of that, Rey hears a voice urging her to kill Kylo Ren. Since we know Snoke has telepathic powers, it's almost certain that was him, so he's had his eye on her for a while. This is his latest gambit to convince her to join him, and she's visibly in a great deal of pain, but will it work?
