John Boyega's had enough of all the secrets.

After some earlier speculation, it seems that John Boyega has confirmed that Tom Hardy and Princes William and Harry will all appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The actor appeared on BBC Radio4 (via Screen Daily) to share the fact that the British Royal Princes have both filmed something for the upcoming sequel, while Hardy is in too, and that he's sick of having to bite his tongue so much:

“I’ve had enough with those secrets. They came on set. They were there. I’m sick of hiding it. I think it was leaked, anyway. There were images. Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it. I’m tired of dodging it. They were there. So was Tom Hardy.”

There's no way he's leaking without the express allowance of LucasFilm - particularly as it's so deliberate and measured - so you should take the way he's said it very much with a tongue planted in cheek. He will have been briefed to within inches of his life since he got his big Star Wars role, after all, and as with all of the cast, he has a way of seeming to reveal things that aren't that revelatory.

Still, it's nice to have the confirmation that the Princes and Hardy are in - following the massive number of cameos hidden in The Force Awakens - joining Take That singer Gary Barlow on the list of cameos. And don't expect that to be the end of them either - it's likely we won't find out some of them until after the film is released in December.
