Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Breakdown: 21 Things You Need To See
13. This Christmas
Just incase you needed any reminding of when this film comes out, it's December 15, though that'll almost certainly be moved forward a day in the U.K., in keeping with recent tradition.
Christmas is now synonymous with Star Wars, which is a brilliant marketing move from Lucasfilm and Disney, similar to the way Lord of the Rings utilised it. That said, this film was slated for a May 25 release at one point, to tie in with the 40th anniversary, but ultimately pushed back.
The Han Solo movie has that date for next year, but there's a good chance of it being moved to December as well. It is Star Wars month, after all (though Aquaman muddles it slightly).
