2. Jakku & Tatooine

The final scene on Tatooine is clearly intended to serve as a bookend of sorts to Rey's introductory scene on Jakku in The Force Awakens, where we see her scavenging and riding a sheet of metal across the sand.

This latter moment is repeated on Tatooine, with Rey finding another sheet of metal to glide across the similarly sandy ground as she seeks out an appropriate burial site for the lightsabers.

And in perhaps the ultimate feat of dramatic rhyming, the final shot of the movie sees Rey and BB-8 staring out across Tatooine's twin suns, as was so iconically first done by Luke Skywalker in A New Hope 42 years prior.
