Maybe I'm an idiot (it's been said before!) but I didn't realise that
Neil Gaiman'sStardust was a light-hearted, almost spoof like fantasy. It's even more light-hearted than the light-hearted bits of
Pirates of the Caribbean. For me, now I have seen the trailer in English.... it walks the very fine line of either being interesting or being stupid. I can't quite tell which. There are some beautiful visuals though. That image of the balloon type thing and the long bridge are right up my alley, and once you get past the boring first part of the trailer... there are some interesting things to look at.
