Stephen King's “It”: 10 Things The Remake Must Get Right
1. Show Us More Of It's Powers And Forms
Pennywise is merely one of It's forms. The sinister presence is believed to be from an unknown realm outside the regions of space, which means it can do a whole lot more than take the shape of a creepy clown.
While Pennywise is a huge part of the main narrative, especially because of how he haunts the children, there's no shortage of examples throughout the novel of It's terrifying powers. It can do everything from shape shifting to creating illusions to becoming invisible and using telepathy to get inside victim's minds. It can also control the weather, too, throw objects about using telekinesis and teleport.
As for the forms the entity can take, It has been known to transform into a werewolf, a leper, a mummy, the shark from Jaws and Count Dracula. The point is, there's such variety that it would be a shame to see nothing but Pennywise.
