The Question: Belle Reve security guard Griggs is introduced early as a fairly significant character, torturing Deadshot in prison before getting tortured by The Joker at a casino.

The last time we see him, he hands Harley Quinn a phone ahead of her first mission, and she tells him that he's "so screwed". So, what actually happened to him?

The Likely Answer: The Joker almost certainly killed him, and this scene was probably filmed but cut from the final movie, possibly because Warner Bros. were trying to lighten the tone, and violent murder sure as hell doesn't do that.

It's still very strange to make such a direct implication to a memorable character and then not show the pay-off; it's not like Griggs was just a glorified cameo.
