So what exactly is the overall plot of Suicide Squad? Based on that Justin Marks script and some later rumoured changes, it's going to be the government-sanctioned team of supervillains up against an even worse bunch of villains. Onslaught appear much the same as they do in the comics, being the group from the opening airport scene involving Digital Djinn (sigh). Previously known as Jihad, which has been changed for obvious reasons, Onslaught in the script also includes flaming scimitar-wielding Rustam, the monstrous Manticore and Thuggee assassin Ravan. What are they up to? They're stealing a bio weapon with the intention of selling it! Possibly to Luthor! In the earlier draft that living weapon is Fallout, a guy who's essentially a walking nuke. Now it appears that role will be filled by Enchantress, played by Carla Delevingne, and the Suicide Squad's mission if they choose to accept it will be to get her back. Oh and spoilers, but the twist is Onslaught might be lead by Rick Flag Sr, and the squad's Rick Flag Jr turns out to have been working for him all along. Which Hardy also didn't like. Maybe he is a prissy diva after all...
