Suicide Squad: 10 Questions We're Asking After The New Trailer

7. How Does The Music Fit Into The Film?

One of the things that has stood out most in the Suicide Squad trailers is the music, with some rather inspired choices being made. Previously we had Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and in this one there's Sweet's Ballroom Blitz.

It's an unusual choice, but one that undeniably works. The question is whether or not this is purely a marketing thing, or if it'll tie into the film itself.

There's an obvious similarity between this use of music and that we saw in the trailers for Guardians of the Galaxy, and Suicide Squad has been posited as DC's villainous version of that movie. So is it riffing on it, or will there be an actual reason for it (much like there was in Guardians, incidentally)?
