Suicide Squad: 10 Questions We're Asking After The New Trailer

5. How Does The Joker Fit Into All This?

Issues of Jared Leto's portrayal out of the way - we're a long way past that, and, frankly, he looks great - the big, Riddler-esque question mark over the character is just what role he'll actually have in the movie.

He keeps popping up in these trailers, but his outfits are constantly changed between varying levels of pimp everytime he does so, meaning it's a little hard to keep track of. We can assume he won't actually be working with the Suicide Squad, but apart from that it's unclear.

Is he going to be an antagonist for them? Does he fit into the bigger mission? Is he just there because of Harley? The trailer is edited to make him seem like bad news for the Squad - Harley Quinn's "uh-oh" - but that's probably just some misdirection in the editing, while another scene shows him talking to Common's Monster T - are the two responsible for whatever is unleashed here?

I don't know the answers, but I'm excited to find out.
