Suicide Squad 2: Every Confirmed (And Rumoured) Character So Far
11. Peter Capaldi As Hugo Strange (Rumoured)
There have been very few details released about any of the new characters coming to The Suicide Squad. All we have to go on right now are set photos and educated guesses based on the source material, however with Peter Capaldi's character, we have been given one tiny clue. He will be bald.
While that doesn't point to just one character, it certainly narrows the field. The Scottish actor could certainly give a strong performance as Lex Luthor, though that particular role within the DCEU has already been filled by Jesse Eisenberg. However, there is another bald super villain within the DC universe that Capaldi could bring to life, and why should Marvel be the only ones to have a Doctor Strange?
In this case it would be Hugo Strange, unlikely to be part of the squad himself, instead overlooking the team from afar. His association with Arkham could be a key part to the movie, and he certainly has the credibility to make a compelling main antagonist.
If this is the case, the twelfth Doctor Who has the potential to give an incredible performance, and give James Gunn's movie a far better big bad than David Ayer's.
