4. Don't Play With Fire

Both Captain Boomerang and Deadshot are shown goading El Diablo - for different reasons. Boomerang appears to be doing it because he's a straight up dick, while Deadshot is trying to inspire him to let go and use his powers.

The goading works for Deadshot, who pushes El Diablo too far and gets a close-hand fireworks display...

The resistance seems to suggest that El Diablo will follow his characterisation in the comics and be hesitant to use his powers (possibly after accidentally killing people with them before he is locked away). The fact that he has to lose control to do any flaming would suggest that's the case.

More than anything, this trailer shows off that El Diablo isn't just another ensemble member making up numbers: he has the kind of powers that put him right at the top of the pile. And clearly he gets his mojo back as there are at least two places he shoots massive fireballs...

And for comic effect Deadshot apologises for helping him heat up with a terrified "we cool"?
