Super Bowl 2018: 9 Major Movie Trailers To Expect

3. Skyscraper

SkyScraper The Rock
Legendary Pictures

Status: Confirmed

Dwayne Johnson proved a big winner for Universal last year with the Fate of the Furious Super Bowl spot garnering a lot of hype, and they'll be hoping for a similar impact from The Rock's new action film.

Skyscraper sees Johnson playing Will Ford, a security expert who is responsible for managing the world's tallest buildings. When one catches fire in China, everything starts to go wrong for Ford and he finds himself in a lot of danger. It's a non-franchise film, so the Super Bowl spot should help give it a real boost, and like Jurassic World 2 it's set to play numerous spots across the night. A recent teaser trailer confirmed that the first trailer would air on Sunday.

Likelihood: 10/10
