Superman Vs. Batman: 10 Reasons It Isn't A Good Idea Yet

3: Timing

man-of-steel This reasoning is admittedly an amalgamation of points already discussed but I feel it is worthy of its own page. A highly lauded and critically acclaimed trilogy surrounding Batman recently finished little over a year ago. A fresh and new franchise invitational of different adventures has just opened up with a Superman rendition that go figure, is actually good. Did any executives ever consider the possibility that audiences may be burned out on Batman? This is worse than rebooting Spiderman frantically to hold onto licensing rights. The Dark Knight Trilogy is still too fresh in our minds meanwhile Superman is hot and rich with possibilities. Build Superman up with his own trilogy and further introduce audiences to his powers and beliefs so he can match Batman€™s presence in a feature of this magnitude.
