Tasty New SALT Trailer!
I'm not really a huge fan of Angelina Jolie. She's attractive, but in much the same way a statue by Michelangelo is - perfectly shaped, cold, and posed. I have never seen her in anything that tells me she can really act like a human being. Fortunately, she has the sense to pick films that play up to her statuesque strengths. Her latest, 'Salt', looks like her role in 'Wanted' with a Russian spy subplot thrown in. She moves well, looks great, and appears to have never suffered through an emotion in her life. The film looks like it has some "cool" action beats, and that's all anybody wants anymore. Remember when real-world action films actually had realistic action sequences? Now everybody is superhuman. It's mildly annoying. Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHUPQaK0XUc 'Salt' opens July 23rd in the U.S. and on August 20th in the U.K. Directed by Philip Noyce ('Clear and Present Danger', 'The Bone Collector').
