Teen Titans Go! To The Movies Review: 7 Ups & 2 Downs
1. The Plot Is Generic & Predictable
If you're expecting to be surprised by a subversive, expectation-defying plot, know that this movie's giddy sense of self-awareness doesn't really extend to its core narrative.
Sure, the prospect of a superhero visiting Warner Bros. in order to get his own movie made is undeniably original, the shenanigans involving Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke (Will Arnett) are pretty run-of-the-mill supervillain fare when you strip away the wink-wink aspect.
