Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows - 11 Awful Moments Everyone Will Hate
5. All The Turtle Arguments
As was a problem in the previous film, there's just too many scenes devoted to the Turtles arguing amongst themselves, when it does very little to move the plot forward or develop the team as characters.
There are two major bones of contention in the film: the Turtles argue over whether or not to use Baxter Stockman's purple ooze on themselves in order to become human, and they also butt heads over their effectiveness as a team.
For starters, we know that the Turtles are never going to turn human because that's not what these movies are sold on, and all the squabbling just feels like a rehash of the first film's arguments.
Can't the film just focus on the Turtles being awesome bada**ses? This added drama just drags the run-time out to an arguably indecent (and certainly unnecessary) 112 minutes.
