Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles PICS: Megan Fox In April O'Neil's Yellow Jacket
The first glimpse of Megan Fox wearing the iconic yellow jacket of April O'Neil from the set of the currently filming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have surfaced at Superhero Hype. Additionally, the photos snapped confirm the film's appropriately classic green logo and reveal the official title will be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and that Will Arnett's recently cast role is that of April's cameraman, Vernon Fenwick. So TMNT fanboys, you've got one of the hottest women on the planet playing your adolescent first crush/fantasy girl... you've got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as the title and not the ridiculous Ninja Turtles as originally pitched... and you've got Michael Bay's hands all over it as a producer. Well two out of the three can't be bad! Directed by Battle: Los Angeles and Wrath Of The Titans director Jonathan Liebesman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a live-action remake of the classic 80s cartoon and 90s film series created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. It centres on a group of human-sized turtle brothers (Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo and Noel Fisher as Michelangelo) who have been trained in the art of martial arts combat by a rat named Master Splinter (Danny Woodburn). The film has gone through many irritations to get to the shooting script with five different names on the screenplay; Josh Appelbaum, Andrew Nemec, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and John Fusco. One idea involved the idea of changing the mutant turtles to alien turtles... but thankfully that was seemingly squashed a while back. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is due for release June 6th, 2014.
