Tenet: 10 Reasons It's Christopher Nolan's Worst Film Ever

9. Several Strong Actors Are Wasted

IS TENET BAD
Warner Bros.

Tenet has a killer cast, but ultimately, none of them are used as well as they should've been. The ones who are more prominent are stuck playing dull characters (more on that shortly) and quite a few others get very little to do.

Himesh Patel, who did a great job of headlining 2019's Yesterday, gets only a few scenes in a nothing role and Aaron Taylor-Johnson not only doesn't turn up until quite late, but then doesn't really get an awful lot to do either.

Worst of all, the legendary Sir Michael Caine gets a grand total of one scene of exposition before disappearing for the rest of the movie. What's the point of having such strong actors in a film if you're not going to do anything with them?
