23. The Terminator Smile

One of Genisys' running jokes is about the Guardians incredibly creepy smile - he does it when being introduced to Reese, in the mugshot and after Kyle and Sarah finally kiss. It's not just a shorthand representation of his inability to grasp human customs though. A deleted scene from Terminator 2: Judgement Day (included in the Director's Cut) shows John Connor trying to teach the film's T-800 how to act more normal, starting with learning to smile. Typically, this 101 struggles just as much as his Genisys counterpart.
