Terminator Genisys: Ranking The Franchise From Worst To Best
3. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
The small-screen spinoff to the Terminator franchise was unfortunately pulled from the airwaves before it had the chance to fulfill its undoubted potential, but in the space of just two seasons The Sarah Connor Chronicles still managed to establish itself as one of the best television shows to have been adapted from a well-known movie.
Lena Headey's great performance as the title character was backed up by strong support from the likes of Brian Austin Green and the always-reliable Garret Dillahunt, and of course Summer Glau's Cameron, who quickly became an all-time fan favorite Terminator.
While the series (much like the movies) occasionally suffered from trying to figure out and explain the head-scratching, constantly-shifting and increasingly convoluted Terminator timeline, it still offered a slickly-produced and entertaining show that featured impressive special effects and some surprisingly complex themes and intelligent writing.
